Magnet Releasing, the genre division of Magnolia Pictures, has announced March 14 as the theatrical and digital release date for Borderline. The twisted new thriller marks the directorial debut of Jimmy Warden, known for writing Cocaine Bear.
Starring Samara Weaving (Ready or Not) and Ray Nicholson (Smile 2), Borderline follows a dangerously persistent stalker who breaks into the home of a former ‘90s pop sensation. As he plots a delusional wedding, the superstar relies on her loyal bodyguard to survive this harrowing encounter. The supporting cast includes Eric Dane (X-Men: The Last Stand), Alba Baptista (Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris), and Jimmie Fails (Last Black Man in San Francisco).
Borderline is produced by LuckyChap, Red A Entertainment, Jurassic Party, and Jason Waterfalls Production. Mimi Steinbauer’s Radiant Films International is handling additional international sales for remaining territories.
