This Halloween season, Los Angeles will play host to Monster Party , a queer-centric, immersive dark comedy that promises a unique theatrical experience. The show will take place for two nights in early October at Wonzimer Gallery, offering a surreal blend of dark humor and narrative-driven entertainment.

Monster Party  takes audiences to a lively Halloween cocktail soirée hosted by a mysterious woman known as The Baroness. Set against the historical backdrop of McCarthyism and the Lavender Scare, guests are drawn into a strange and absurd narrative as they interact with partygoers who have no recollection of their identities or how they arrived. The deeper the audience engages with the characters, the more twisted and unpredictable the evening becomes.

Created by Matt Dorado, known for his previous immersive work with the Drunken Devil series, Monster Party moves away from large-scale spectacles to focus more on character and story. Dorado describes the show as an experimental, nonlinear journey blending dark comedy with a deranged character study.

Tickets are $85 and include the show plus two complimentary beverages. With limited capacity each night, attendees are encouraged to secure their spots early. The event is 21+ and will be held at Wonzimer Gallery in Los Angeles.
