Developers at CD PROJEKT RED have now announced the newest expansion set for GWENT: The Witcher Card Game, including 26 all-new cards along with the new Price of Power storyline. A new launch trailer has been released, which you can watch here!

This new expansion set consists of three story-related expansions for GWENT, where the overall theme involves the use of magic, and how varying factions seek out, fight for, or exploit its power. 

Once Upon A Pyre is just the first expansion of the entire set, including 26 new cards, fresh strategies to players’ arsenals, and begins the plot behind the Price of Power set. 

Price of Power: Once Upon A Pyre is now available on GWENT: The Witcher Card Game, free on PC, Apple M1 Macs, iOS, and Android. 

Upon this release, several limited-time offers are currently available within GWENT. Not only are there Once Upon A Pyre Faction Packs and a Once Upon A Pyre Combo Pack, but there are even some bonus items as well: faction-dedicated avatars and a Once Upon a Pyre-themed game board respectively.

Also available is the Price of Power Expansion Pass, featuring an exclusive Coin and instant access to all premium Price of Power cards from each of the set’s expansions as they release. GWENT: The Witcher Card Game is a free-to-play digital collectible card game developed and published by CD PROJEKT RED. Gameplay consists of two players facing each other in a turn-based card match, with slight variations made from the version players may be familiar with from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
