A new trailer has arrived for the Blumhouse original film, The Woman in the Yard, offering a first look at an unsettling figure who appears without warning on a rural family’s lawn. Danielle Deadwyler (BAFTA and SAG nominee) leads the cast as Ramona, a grieving mother recovering from a tragic car accident. She must protect her children (Peyton Jackson and Estella Kahiha) when a mysterious woman (Okwui Okpokwasili) begins to lurk just outside their home.
Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra (Black Adam, Jungle Cruise) and penned by first-time screenwriter Sam Stefanak, the film examines the limits of a parent’s resolve and the unforeseen threats that can surface when least expected. Produced by Jason Blum (The Invisible Man, The Black Phone) and Emmy-nominated Stephanie Allain p.g.a. (The Exorcist: Believer, Hustle & Flow), The Woman in the Yard promises a tense, character-driven story.
