New Trailer for Mother! from Darren Aronofsky

To say we are huge fans of Darren Aronofsky is an understatement. Well, he has a new movie coming out that promises to be as meticulously executed as Black Swan and just as unnerving. We just got the trailer for Mother! from Paramount Pictures and we are dying to see this.

The pic stars Oscar winner and all-around cool chick Jennifer Lawrence opposite Oscar winner Javier Bardem as her creepy husband in the big new house. Okay but wait there is more. Oscar Nominees Ed Harris and Michelle Pfeiffer roll up and decide to stay at the house too, unannounced, and that is when things get weird as hell.

Synopsis: A couple’s relationship is tested when uninvited guests arrive at their home, disrupting their tranquil existence. From filmmaker Darren Aronofsky (Black Swan, Requiem for a Dream), mother! stars Jennifer Lawrence, Javier Bardem, Ed Harris and Michelle Pfeiffer in this riveting psychological thriller about love, devotion and sacrifice.

It looks like it has a healthy dose of paranoia and mystery too which Darren Aronofsky is so good at. He kind of revels in that fever dream world where the most absurd explaination is also the most logical and there is no easy way out. This man is a genius.
