Turn and click…the secret has finally been unlocked! Netflix has released the trailer for its latest mystery adventure series, Locke and Key. The new show is based on a series of popular graphic novels. Lock and Key is set to premiere on Netflix Friday February 7, 2020. Better start making some headway on that Netflix list, this is one you’re going to want to make room for!

 

 

Synopsis: After their father is murdered under mysterious circumstances, the three Locke siblings and their mother move into their ancestral home, Keyhouse, which they discover is full of magical keys that may be connected to their father’s death. As the Locke children explore the different keys and their unique powers, a mysterious demon awakens — and will stop at nothing to steal them. From Carlton Cuse (Lost, Bates Motel) and Meredith Averill (The Haunting of Hill House), the series is a coming-of-age mystery about love, loss, and the unshakable bonds that define family.

This show looks like it will be dynamic and attention-grabbing, as so many Netflix shows are. The trailer is jam-packed with a cornucopia of different and dynamic scenes that makes the show worth seeing all on its own. A strong cast and excellent editing really sell the viewer on this upcoming mystery adventure. Locke and Key appears to be a show that adults and younger audiences can enjoy. Filled with whimsy, fantasy, mystery, and some pretty awesome music, Locke and Key is sure to be another Netflix hit.
