The official trailer for Texas Nightmare, a psychological horror film from director Michael Merino, has been released. The film, described as having a David Lynch-inspired atmosphere, follows a writer seeking solitude in the Texas Hill Country to complete a novel, only to become entangled in a deadly confrontation with a cult.

The cast includes Sadie Katz (Wrong Turn 6: Last Resort), Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp), James Pratt (The 3 Killer Pigs), Lew Temple (The Devil’s Rejects), and Eva Hamilton (The Black Mass).

Merino, who also wrote the script, serves as a producer alongside Randy Charach. Co-executive producers include Sadie Katz and Felissa Rose.

The film’s release date and distribution details have yet to be announced.
