Wondercon 2018 is ON ladies and gentlemen and you know what that means dontcha? AMAZING COSPLAY, that’s RIGHT! WonderCon is literally the sister show to Comic-Con International. It features all the main aspects of that show; comics, movies, TV, animation, and of course, costumes.  In its current Anaheim-based incarnation, WonderCon continues to draw fans of pop-culture to the hallowed halls of the Anaheim Convention Center.

Cosplay, or costume play, is the practice of dressing up as a character from a movie, book, or video game, TV Show, or anything really, that speaks to your inner nerd and tells the world, “I am a FAN!” Cosplayers LOVE getting their pictures taken and acting for the cameras, but if you plan on attending and taking pics of your own there are some basic rules of etiquette you need to remember.

• Always ask if you may take a picture before doing so.
• Show respect for cosplayer’s personal space.
• Respect the players and their downtime.
• Treat the kid cosplayers with respect too.
