The horror genre has been given a fresh face by indie filmmakers with their upcoming release of Pancake Man. The film follows the story of a man who is pushed to the edge after being denied his favorite plate of pancakes and is now seeking revenge. The film is currently in pre-production and is scheduled to start filming in May 2023.

Written and directed by Bron Theron, Pancake Man features a talented cast that includes Corin Nemec, Elissa Dowling, Jordan C. Michael, August Kyss, Scott Ward, Rachel Hollon, and Michael Della Pia as the Pancake Man himself.

The film promises to be an intense action thriller, combining the elements of “Falling Down”, “Reservoir Dogs”, and “Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels” to create a unique experience for horror fans. The story revolves around a killing spree that sets off a chain of events, including a Mexican stand-off with a mob boss’s son, a gang of petty criminals, and an innocent cafe staff. Revenge is served all day, and the Pancake Man is out for blood.

Produced by Michael Della Pia, Bron Theron, Derek Easley, and Megan Easley, the film is brought to us by Black Rabbit Pictures, White Ninja Productions, and Derek Easley Entertainment. The filmmakers have launched an Indiegogo campaign to fund the project and invite horror fans to join the Pancake Man movement.
