The Damned, a psychological horror film starring Odessa Young (The Daughter) and Joe Cole (Peaky Blinders), is set for a theatrical release on January 3, 2025. Directed by Thordur Palsson, the story takes place in a remote 19th-century fishing village and promises a harrowing examination of morality, survival, and the human psyche.

The film centers on Eva, a widowed resident of a small fishing community facing a relentless winter. When a shipwreck occurs just off their coast, Eva and her neighbors must decide whether to save the stranded crew or prioritize their own dwindling resources. As supplies grow scarce, the villagers’ decision ignites a growing sense of fear and remorse. Their shared guilt manifests as a feeling of inescapable punishment, leading to escalating tensions and a struggle for psychological and physical survival.
