A chilling blend of investigative storytelling and 1980s nostalgia emerges today, as solo developer Krystof Knesl and Iceberg Interactive unveil the Radiolight demo as part of Steam Next Fest. Set against the backdrop of Ashwood Creek National Park, this first-person thriller offers an eerie taste of what awaits in the final game.

A Trip into the Unknown
Players take on the role of Ethan, a small-town police officer whose routine life unravels after a local teenager vanishes under mysterious circumstances. With only a transistor radio and the guidance of Chief Robert—a longtime friend and colleague—Ethan soon discovers that the park’s natural beauty and hushed trails hide unsettling secrets. Mist-shrouded pines, crackling frequencies, and unsettling silhouettes leave him (and you) questioning whether something more sinister than mere misfortune lurks in the fog.

A Collaboration of Atmosphere and Intrigue
Developed by Krystof Knesl, Radiolight is an ode to narrative-driven experiences that blur the line between the real and the supernatural. Knesl’s love for immersive storytelling and atmospheric design dovetails seamlessly with Iceberg Interactive’s track record for publishing unique, story-rich titles like Strange Horticulture, Blazing Sails, and Chivalry 2. Within Radiolight’s digital trails lie puzzles, radio interference, and hidden clues—a tapestry carefully woven to capture the era’s retro charm while luring players deeper into an unsolved mystery.

“I love creating an experience that pulls people in, moves them, and stays with them,” says developer Krystof Knesl. “With Radiolight, I get to bring together everything I’m passionate about: a gripping investigative story, eerie 80s nostalgia, and a touch of the unsettling. I hope you enjoy this small teaser of what’s to come!”
