It’s finally happening, recruits! The long awaited wedding between the Scarecrow King and Special Officer Phoebe Daring is almost upon us, and you’re invited! Of course, they may not be the only ones taking a vow….

We have loved The Speakeasy Society’s take on Frank L. Baum’s “Land of OZ” novels since we were warned a storm was coming, the first time we stepped foot into a recruitment tent. We’ve dutifully played along with this alternate reality game, and have chosen our side. And for Chapter 5: The Vow, The Speakeasy Society looks to make this midseason finale of The Kansas Collection their most ambitious entry yet!

This 90 minute (!) performance features complimentary drinks and Hors d’oeuvres at the “reception.” Just like a real wedding!

Even though this is Chapter 5 in the on-going Kansas Collection saga, this piece has been designed with a unique track to accommodate those who have not yet experienced previous chapters. So, if you’ve not had a chance to see any of these shows before, it is the perfect time to jump into the action.

Newcomers to the Kansas Collection are welcome and asked to wear white. Returning audience are asked to wear faction approved colors. Formal to Semi formal dress and comfortable footwear is encouraged.

The Kansas Collection: Chapter 5 – The Vow runs Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from August 9 – 25, 2018.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, June 15th, at noon. It will be $80 on Thursdays and $100 Fridays and Saturdays.
