The highly anticipated horror game Remothered: Broken Porcelain, originally set for release on August 25th this Summer, is now being pushed back to October 20th. Modus Games made this bleak announcement after deliberating with Darril Arts and Stormind Games, but this difficult decision also means that us players will be able to still explore the Ashmann Inn just in time for Halloween!
The public got their first look at the ominous world a few weeks back during GamesRadar’s Future Games Shows. During times like this, however, where timelines can be so incredibly unpredictable, developers may need extra time for polishing and providing a quality product. Anyone who has played the first chapter in the story, Remothered: Tormented Fathers, knows that this extra time will be entirely worth the wait.
Remothered: Broken Porcelain follows the story of Jen, one of the maids who serve at the gloomy Ashmann Inn. Rebellious and headstrong set on surviving the horrors, Jen must use the environment to her advantage by exploring the inn, discovering clues, solving puzzles, and escaping obstacles. In the shadows of the halls, there lie haunting figures and dangerous enemies, some even slightly familiar to players of the previous game. Check out the most recent trailer released to see if you recognize any specific enemies, you might be surprised…
Though this survival horror game is being delayed for a little while, players can still expect the best of quality on October 20th. Right in the midst of the spooky season, players will be able to play on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC at launch. Prices are currently unannounced, so stay tuned for any future details surrounding this launch!
Overall, we need to continue being patient while this sinister world is being perfected, but ultimately, we here at HorrorBuzz know it will be worth the wait.
