Our friends at Screambox have launched  “ Only on Screambox ” — a virtual video shelf highlighting more than 230 movies and features that are not available on Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime or other major streaming services. It’s sort of a section on the shelf for only the cool, VIP Screambox people.

Updated weekly, fans can regularly visit this section to discover new movies they won’t find anywhere else. And, in a nod to classic video rental stores, movies featured on the new “Only on Screambox” shelf are visually highlighted with a green play button “sticker” — to make it easy for fans to find all the best movies they can’t view anywhere else.

BEHIND THE SCREAMS

Have you ever wondered what happened to the all of the cool bonus features you used to get on DVDs? With the proliferation of streaming sites, that cool stuff has been lost in the shuffle. Until now.  

GOING “BEHIND-THE-SCREAMS” To support this launch, Screambox is releasing exclusive bonus features with all new, original “Behind the Screams” content throughout the rest of 2017.

The first in the series is Behind-the-Screams: Lovely Molly . Hosted by Vanessa James of the popular YouTube channel Hello Horror, Behind-the-Screams: Lovely Molly examines the supernatural terrors found in the film Lovely Molly .

This featurette contains a unique introduction from Vanessa, the movie bonus footage, as well as some fun and frightening facts that will leave fans buzzing. The movie Lovely Molly was directed by Eduardo Sánchez ( The Blair Witch Project ) and stars Gretchen Lodge as Molly, Johnny Lewis as her husband Tim, and Alexandra Holden as Molly’s sister, Hannah. Screambox subscribers voted Lovely Molly as one of their favorite movies, making it the perfect choice for the first Behind-the-Screams video. This is the first joint venture between Screambox and Vanessa from Hello Horror, but it won’t be the last.

The company has slated multiple Behind-the-Screams featurettes for Vanessa — and the popular horror personality will be making appearances at the Screambox live experience during this summer’s Midsummer Scream.
