After a three-year break, Sean Keller & Friends are making a comeback with the release of their latest Halloween-themed album, Killer Sounds of Halloween: The Final Chapter. This fourth installment is now available exclusively on Bandcamp and continues the tradition of genre-hopping, spooky tunes and fictional horror movie trailers, a staple of the Killer Sounds of Halloween series.
Composed, performed, and produced by Sean Keller, the 13-song mixtape features guest performances by actors, directors, and writers from the horror industry. This latest release includes contributions from notable figures such as Shannon Purser (known for Stranger Things and Riverdale), Aurora Perrineau (Kaos, Westworld), Gigi Saul Guerrero (Satanic Hispanics, Culture Shock), and Chelsea Stardust (Satanic Panic), among others.
The previous albums in the Killer Sounds of Halloween series have garnered attention in popular horror films like Halloween Kills, Halloween Ends, It’s a Wonderful Knife, and The Manor. Ryan Turek, EVP of Film Development & Production at Blumhouse, praised the albums, saying they help set the perfect mood for the Halloween season.
Keller, known for his work as a screenwriter and the creator of the Hollywood Fringe Fest hit Slashed! The Musical, expressed his passion for the holiday. He explained that his love for Halloween drives the creation of each song, and he hopes listeners can feel the energy in every track, even the darker ones.
Killer Sounds of Halloween: The Final Chapter is a must-listen for horror enthusiasts looking to embrace the Halloween spirit through original music and creativity.
