Shudder, AMC Networks’ premium streaming platform for horror, thrillers, and the supernatural, has confirmed that Stephen Cognetti’s new film, 825 FOREST ROAD, will premiere exclusively on April 4. Cognetti, celebrated for the Hell House LLC franchise, steps outside his found-footage roots to deliver a fresh take on a haunted house story. This release is part of Shudder’s highly anticipated Halfway to Halloween celebration.
825 FOREST ROAD follows Chuck Wilson, who relocates to the mysterious town of Ashland Falls with his wife Maria and sister Elizabeth. Hoping to escape a painful past, Chuck soon uncovers the legend of Helen Foster—a vengeful apparition said to roam the area since the 1940s. Determined to protect his family, Chuck embarks on a dangerous search for the elusive address that could break Helen’s hold on the town. Sam Zimmerman, Head of Programming at Shudder, notes, “Stephen’s Hell House LLC franchise has been a cult favorite for Shudder viewers, and we’re excited to welcome him back home.”
Produced by Joe Bandelli, Dana Guerin, and Cindi Rice, and executive produced by John Frank Rosenblum for Epic Level Entertainment, 825 FOREST ROAD promises an unsettling journey into small-town terror. Horror fans can mark April 4 on their calendars for this exclusive debut on Shudder.
