There’s a streaming service for every niche these days, and the cult film genre is no exception! VOD cult film specialists Spamflix has launched a new globally available app. The app is available on smartphones and compatible smart TVs. In this all-new app, users can browse, rent, and stream the hefty catalog featuring full-length and short films from all around the world.
Think of Spamflix as the “Netflix for Cult Film Fans”. Their library contains hard-to-find, lesser-known genre titles. Several of these films found great success on the festival circuit but never garnered mainstream acknowledgment. Spamflix’s specialty focus is black comedy and adult animation, creating easy access for ignored genres. But it doesn’t stop there… other film categories include Crime, Nonsense, WTF Did I Just Watch?, and the currently appropriate #staythefuckhome.
Browsing the app for new and favorite cult classics is easy. Users can rent individual films for 72 hours for just $5 USD. Multiple titles can also be acquired via Film Packs. Film Packs also include special discounts and a Free Film Coupon for all newly registered users. Act fast because the ‘Free Film Coupon’ promotion is good through May 22.
Some recent additions include art-house erotic fantasy The Wild Boys by Bertrand Mandico, comedic mockumentary Burning Love by Alberto Caviglia, and Shugo Fuji’s mutant Japanese horror film Mimicry Freaks. I mean just check out this awesome list of some of the films released to North America and the UK!
