The highly anticipated remake of the 1967 cult classic Spider Baby is now available on Blu-ray and VHS through Scream Team Releasing. Directed by Anthony DiBlasi, the 2024 version offers a fresh take on the story of the Merrye family, who suffer from a rare degenerative disease that causes mental regression.

The film is set in a decaying rural mansion, where the last generation of the Merrye family—played by Skylar Fast, Emma Keifer, and Cody J. Briscoe—live under the care of their loyal chauffeur, Bruno, portrayed by Noel Jason Scott. As distant relatives and their lawyer arrive to claim the property, chaos ensues, leading the children to fiercely protect their home and family heritage.

Fans of the original will be excited to see genre veterans Beverly Washburn, Ron Chaney, Robert Mukes, and Brinke Stevens make appearances in the film, further connecting it to its horror roots.
