Hawkins has arrived on Broadway. Netflix and Sonia Friedman Productions have unveiled the official first look at Stranger Things: The First Shadow as it opens for public performances at The Marquis Theater. Adapted from the acclaimed West End production, this stage show has garnered attention for its fast-paced narrative and immersive visuals.

Directed by Stephen Daldry, the production promises to captivate audiences with its combination of television-style storytelling and live theater innovation. “There are moments in the show where you will think, ‘I don’t understand how they did that,’” Daldry says, hinting at jaw-dropping practical effects. The Duffer Brothers, creators of Stranger Things, share that witnessing the play come to life was a thrilling experience—exceeding even their high expectations.

Fans can also look forward to the new documentary, Behind the Curtain: Stranger Things: The First Shadow, premiering exclusively on Netflix on April 15.

This behind-the-scenes feature follows the cast and crew as they transform the West End success into a Broadway spectacle.
