Terror Films is set to release HELL’S HALF ACRE, a twisted horror film directed by John Patrick Tomasek, worldwide this April. The film follows Marcus and his group of young urban explorers as they venture into the abandoned Rockland Heights Prison for their popular YouTube channel. However, they soon realize that the place is different from any other location they have explored before, and their survival becomes a fight against terrifying and dangerous paranormal demonic entities.

Quinn Nehr, Brynn Beveridge, and Omar Vegga Jr star in this Distant Star Films production. The film features an original score composed and produced by Ramesh Kumar Kannan and original songs and title score by VORE. Director John Patrick Tomasek has been passionate about creating stories since he was young. He said in a statement, “My vision for Hell’s Half Acre while directing it is that I wanted the audience not to know what was coming next with some key plot twists, keeping them engaged and entertained.”

HELL’S HALF ACRE follows Marcus, played by Omar Vegga Jr, and his group of young urban explorers Jessie, Dan, Jose, and Cassie as they venture into the abandoned Rockland Heights Prison to explore and film their experience for their YouTube channel. The team’s goal is to gain ratings and paid sponsors. However, they soon discover that the prison is not like any other place they have been to before, and strange things begin to happen almost immediately upon their arrival. The team realizes that they are not alone, and they are up against dangerous paranormal demonic entities.

Director John Patrick Tomasek stated that he wanted the audience to connect with the characters and ultimately end up at the abandoned prison unprepared for the evil awaiting them. The director’s vision for the film was to keep the audience engaged and entertained with plot twists that they would not see coming.
