Dark Sky Films is set to release The Killgrin, a new horror feature directed and written by Joanna Tsanis, hitting theaters and VOD/digital platforms on April 25. The film stars Cristo Fernández, best known for his work on the acclaimed series “Ted Lasso,” and introduces a chilling storyline that delves into the unsettling consequences of unaddressed trauma.

The plot centers on Miranda, who seeks unconventional self-help methods to cope with personal tragedy. She soon learns from a spiritual healer that her aura is infected by a malicious force called the “KILLGRIN,” an entity that feeds on her sorrow. Initially unconvinced, Miranda opts for group therapy, but events take a disturbing turn as those close to her suffer horrifying fates.
