Umbrelic Entertainment’s latest horror venture, The Possession at Gladstone Manor, has officially started filming in Kansas City, Missouri, capitalizing on the state’s enticing tax incentives. The film, featuring a stellar cast including Caylee Cowan, Jesse Metcalfe, Charlotte Kirk, and horror icons Barbara Crampton and Lin Shaye, promises to deliver a gripping supernatural thriller under the direction of K. Asher Levin.

The story unfolds as Jamie Black, played by Caylee Cowan, investigates her mother’s mysterious disappearance at the eerie Gladstone Manor by taking up her mother’s former job. The plot thickens when Jamie discovers that her mother is not the only one missing and that she may be up against malevolent supernatural forces. Supported by her brothers and Chris’ fiancée—all ex-marines and skilled criminals—Jamie confronts the dark powers inhabiting the manor.

Director K. Asher Levin, co-writing with Danny Matier, aims to craft a horror narrative that will haunt viewers for years. The production also benefits from Theresa Wayman of Warpaint composing the score, enhancing the chilling atmosphere.

The Possession at Gladstone Manor not only leverages Missouri’s film production incentives but also showcases the region’s robust production capabilities and diverse locations. With international sales spearheaded by AMP’s Anthony Buckner at the Cannes International Film Festival, the film is poised to reach a global audience, eager for a new horror classic.
