Creepy Christina Productions has launched a crowdfunding campaign for The Straw Girl, an expansion of the short horror film Straw Girl, with a fundraising goal of $22,000. The campaign, available on Crowdfundr, will run until October 31, 2024, aiming to transform the original short into a full-length feature. The production team, driven by their passion for the project, plans to bring a gripping story to life with filming scheduled for October 5th-10th at Mystery Ridge Movie Ranch and other locations in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

In this expanded version, The Straw Girl delves deeper into the folklore of the titular character, Christina, and her chilling relationships with The Man and Charlotte. As Christina battles the haunting presence known as The Blue Thing, she uncovers her own dark identity, revealing hidden personalities and succumbing to macabre transformations. The story navigates the thin lines between good and evil, light and dark, in a narrative where reality and deception blur.

The team behind the original Straw Girl short, including director Blake, is eager to continue the story with the feature-length film. Despite the tight budget, the filmmakers are committed to delivering an atmospheric, visually striking, and character-driven story that will captivate horror fans. Supporters of the project can enjoy unique rewards and be part of a mission to tell unique stories.

The funds raised will go directly towards production costs to ensure the film meets its high visual and storytelling standards. By supporting this project, horror enthusiasts can help bring The Straw Girl to life and see Christina’s harrowing tale reach its full potential.
