Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood unveils 3 world-class haunted houses for Halloween Horror Nights on both coasts! The terror begins on Friday, September 1, at Universal Orlando Resort and on Thursday, September 7, at Universal Studios Hollywood. Brace yourself for a nightmarish experience with all-new haunted houses, featuring some of the most horrifying characters from popular horror films. Let’s take a sneak peek at what’s in store for thrill-seekers:
The Exorcist: Believer
Get ready to face pure evil in “The Exorcist: Believer” haunted house, inspired by Universal Pictures’ terrifying new horror film from Blumhouse and Morgan Creek Entertainment. Enter a bustling street market in Haiti, where an innocent purchase of a strange folk doll with three eyes opens a demonic portal. Sinister spirits awaken, and two 12-year-old girls mysteriously disappear in the United States. As guests navigate through this spine-chilling maze, they will come face-to-face with the consequences of an exorcism gone awry. Unnerving encounters await, as even unsuspecting guests are at risk of losing their souls.
Chucky: Ultimate Kill Count
The mischievous killer doll, Chucky, takes center stage in “Chucky: Ultimate Kill Count,” an all-new haunted house based on the hit USA & SYFY series and cult classic films. Fueled by a sense of disrespect, Chucky transforms his haunted house into a living slaughterhouse, determined to eliminate every person who enters. Prepare to encounter this sadistic killer in a haunt experience like never before, where screams become music to his twisted ears.
Universal Monsters: Unmasked
Descend sixty feet beneath the bustling streets of Paris into the dark Catacombs where the secrets of “Universal Monsters: Unmasked” lie buried. This chilling haunted house introduces guests to the infamous burial grounds teeming with millions of skeletal remains and sinister secrets. Here, The Phantom of the Opera, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, and The Invisible Man seek vengeance against unsuspecting guests after the Catacombs’ opening to the public. As they navigate through the labyrinthine underground home of these monstrous fiends, visitors’ screams will echo unheard in the darkness.
In an exclusive collaboration, GRAMMY® Award-winning musician, SLASH, will provide an original score for the west coast version of “Universal Monsters: Unmasked” at Universal Studios Hollywood. The haunting melodies will further immerse guests into the nightmarish world of these iconic cinematic monsters.
The Halloween Horror Nights experience doesn’t end with haunted houses! Both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood have more in store, including five scare zones and additional chilling attractions to keep the terror alive throughout the night.
