Universal Orlando Resort has revealed exciting new details about the highly anticipated Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, set to open at Universal Epic Universe in 2025. This third installment of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter will transport guests through different eras and magical environments inspired by the beloved “Fantastic Beasts” and “Harry Potter” films.

Introducing The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ - Ministry of Magic™

Guests will first enter the magical world through a Muggle park in Paris, arriving at the enchanting 1920s Place Cachée. This hidden shopping district in wizarding Paris features Haussmannian architecture, bustling shops, sidewalk cafés, and historic Parisian domes. Visitors can cast spells using interactive wands, encounter fantastic beasts at a traveling circus, and travel to 1990s London via the unique Métro-Floo for an adventure inside the iconic British Ministry of Magic.

One of the standout attractions is “Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry.” This ride combines massive environments, powerful storytelling, and first-of-its-kind technology, offering a thrilling chase through the Ministry as guests join Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, and a house-elf named Higgledy to capture the infamous Dolores Umbridge. The ride promises an adrenaline-pumping experience as guests dodge attacks from Death Eaters and rampaging creatures.

For the first time in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, guests will enjoy a live, full-scale theater experience with “Le Cirque Arcanus.” This spectacular show features live performers, aerialists, amazing puppetry, and special effects, taking guests on a whirlwind journey to rescue fantastic beasts from the grasp of Ringmaster Skender.

Visitors can also shop at Cosme Acajor Baguettes Magique, a premier Parisian wand shop, and explore other themed dining and retail locations such as Café L’Air De La Sirène, Le Gobelet Noir, and Bar Moonshine. The Bièraubeurre Cart will offer the fan-favorite Butterbeer.
