Time to clock in for your shift! The official trailer and poster for Brea Grant’s latest horror-thriller, 12, Hour Shift, has hit the internet and it is a shift-show (in the best possible way of course). Known for her roles in Dexter, Heroes, and Friday Night Lights, Brea also has several directing credits to her name. This most recent endeavor proving her prowess not only as an actor but as a writer and director as well.

Synopsis: It’s 1998 and over the course of one night at an Arkansas hospital, a junkie nurse, her scheming cousin and a group of black market organ-trading criminals get caught up in a heist gone wrong.

12 Hour Shift - Official Trailer
This is dark comedy at its finest. Director Brea Grant is no stranger to the horror genre (Dexter, Real Housewives of Horror) and she has a hit on her bloody hands here. Angela Bettis (Carrie, 2002) is dead-pan and dynamic all at the same time. Who knew organ harvesting and witty banter went so well together? 12 Hour Shift looks like it is going to be one messy, heart-pumping, high-stakes thrill ride. I can’t wait to see the cast get their hands dirty in this deliciously dark comedy-horror-thriller.

Written and directed by Brea Grant, 12 Hour Shift stars Angela Bettis, Chloe Farnworth, Mick Foley, Nikea Gamby-Turner, Kit Williamson, and David Arquette. Magnet Releasing will release 12 Hour Shift in theaters (pandemic permitting) and on-demand October 2, 2020. So get ready, because shift is gonna get real!
