Scatena & Rosner (S&R Films) has announced the North American release of Bight, an erotic thriller from debut writer-director Maiara Walsh. The film is scheduled to open on February 10, 2026, positioning its release ahead of Valentine’s Day.

Bight stars Walsh alongside Cameron Cowperthwaite, Mark Hapka, and Maya Stojan. Written by Walsh and Cowperthwaite, the story centers on Atticus and Charlie, a couple navigating personal loss and fractured ambitions. An evening spent with close friends Sebastian, an avant-garde erotic photographer, and Naomi, a painter harboring a dark secret, draws them into a provocative exploration of intimacy and control rooted in Sebastian’s immersive Shibari art exhibition.

As the night unfolds, shifting boundaries and unresolved tensions push the characters toward decisions that lead to serious consequences. The film examines themes of love, power, and trust through a character-driven approach, focusing on how desire and obsession can destabilize relationships.
