A24 has released the official teaser for Slayground, Jeremy Saulnier’s (Blue Ruin, Green Room) run-like-hell thriller, opening only in theaters January 29, 2027.
The setup should make haunt fans sit up. Scare actor “Metal Mike” Graves wakes up inside a haunted attraction, surrounded by the dead bodies of his co-workers, with no memory of how they got there. As a statewide manhunt closes in, he races to uncover the truth, even if the trail leads straight back to him.
Cory Michael Smith (Gotham) stars, joined by Chase Sui Wonders (Bodies Bodies Bodies), Sophie Wilde (Talk to Me), James Badge Dale (The Pacific), Stanley Simons, Stephen Root (Barry), Chris Sullivan (This Is Us), and Young Mazino (Beef).
The teaser’s tagline promises, “What you can’t remember will haunt you,” and the Halloween-adjacent setting gives Saulnier’s brand of tense, grounded violence a fresh playground.
