Platinum Dunes has announced a new horror feature titled Shredded, fully financed by Logical Pictures Group. International sales will launch at the European Film Market with Protagonist Pictures co-representing global rights alongside Logical Pictures International, while UTA Independent Film Group will oversee North American rights.

The film is written and directed by Academy Award nominee Josh Lawson and centers on Eileen, a woman attempting to move forward after a breakup by enrolling in an intense gym program. When she decides to quit, the program’s charismatic but unstable coach abducts her and forces her into a brutal training compound where captives face punishing workouts with deadly consequences. As conditions worsen, Eileen must rely on strategy rather than strength to survive.

Producers include Michael Bay, Brad Fuller, and Alex Ginno for Platinum Dunes, with Jeff Golenberg producing for Strand Entertainment. Executive producers span partners from Logical Pictures Group and Protagonist Pictures. Positioned as a high-concept thriller examining modern fitness culture and personal obsession, Shredded marks the latest genre effort from a production company known for titles such as A Quiet Place and The Purge.
