Level 33 Entertainment has acquired the Sundance Midnight feature Didn’t Die, setting a U.S. theatrical release for March 6, 2026. Directed by Meera Menon, the film arrives roughly a year after the filmmaker lost her home in the Altadena fires, adding an additional layer of context to a production centered on perseverance.

The story follows Vinita, a podcast host played by Kiran Deol, as she navigates a zombie outbreak unfolding across rural America while attempting to hold onto her shrinking audience. The ensemble includes George Basil, Samrat Chakrabarti, Katie McCuen, Vishal Vijayakumar, Ali Lopez-Sohaili, and Kandis Erickson. Menon, whose directing credits span television series such as The Walking Dead and Westworld, described the film as an exploration of what keeps people moving forward when stability disappears.

Produced by Menon alongside Erica Fishman, Joe Camerota, and cinematographer Paul Gleason, with a score by Samuel Jones, Didn’t Die blends character-driven storytelling with genre elements. Tickets for the theatrical run are currently available, positioning the film for a wider audience following its festival debut.
