Halloween Horror Nights fans, mark your calendars. Universal Destinations & Experiences is heading to Midsummer Scream 2026 at the Long Beach Convention Center on August 7–9, and they’re bringing a full preview of what’s in store for HHN this fall.

The booth will feature Halloween Horror Nights photo opportunities, exclusive Universal Monsters and Halloween II merchandise, and character meet-and-greets — all the good stuff that makes the Midsummer Scream floor one of the best places in the country to spend a summer weekend.

The crown jewel of Universal’s presence: executive producer John Murdy will take the stage for an official Halloween Horror Nights panel, offering a first look at the creative vision behind this year’s event. Murdy has shepherded HHN for decades and tends to bring genuinely exciting reveals to these appearances. If you want to know what’s coming before everyone else, this is the room to be in.

Midsummer Scream runs August 7–9, 2026 at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, California. Single-day and weekend passes are available at midsummerscream.org.
