Shudder and AMC+ have released the official trailer for The Creep Tapes Season 3, confirming the fan-favorite series returns with a two-episode premiere on Tuesday, September 15. From writers and executive producers Mark Duplass and Patrick Brice, the new season brings six audacious new tapes from the world’s most charmingly dangerous serial killer.

The season continues its grueling anthology format: another collection of videos recovered from the secret vault of a deeply unsettling, socially awkward, and lethally unpredictable killer played by Duplass. As each tape rolls, his increasingly odd behavior and questionable intentions close in on yet another set of victims who realize too late they may have made a fatal mistake.

Season 3 features an impressive lineup of guest stars, including Kate Siegel (Carrie), Nic Hamilton (IT), and Elliott Fullam (Terrifier 2, Terrifier 3). In a standout episode, Duplass’ real-life daughter Ora Duplass (Coven Academy) appears alongside her father in a throwback installment.

The Creep franchise — which began with the 2014 micro-budget found-footage film of the same name — has grown into one of the most effective and genuinely unsettling horror franchises of the streaming era. Where the original films relied on intimate two-person dread, The Creep Tapes expands the mythology one tape at a time, each episode offering a fresh victim, a fresh disaster.
