When an alien brain parasite starts turning their human hosts into zombies, who you gonna call? Apparently, teenagers. Really, though. Night of the creeps has one of my favorite horror esque cliche type trailers. Give this 1986 release a shot, will ya?

Back on this date in 2011, we got an awesome addition to horror cinema. You’re Next takes you on a wild ride, where the Davison family become the hunted for a gang of killers. Definitely watch this one. It’s got a killer 2nd half that keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Born on this day back in 1960, Takashi Miike, has to be one of my favorite Directors. Responsible for 13 Assassins, Ichi the Killer, and one of my all time favorites, Audition. With over 100 director credits to his name, he continues to impress. Thanks for not pulling out, Mr. Miike!

AAAAH! Everyone run! It’s the zombie movie with a thousand names! Zombi 2, aka – Zombie, aka – Zombie Flesh Eaters, aka – Island of the Living Dead, and so on, and so forth. Adapted from an original screenplay by Dardano Sacchetti to serve as a sequel to George A. Romero’s Dawn of the Dead, this violent film took horror audiences by the balls. The film attracted controversy during it’s United Kingdom release, however, later it became a cult classic and even critics came around. The score has also been released independently of the film, as well as performed live on tour by the composer. Pretty cool for a zombie flick.
Zombi 2

I really got nothing… I tried to get into this show, but I can’t. I’m sure he’s a nice guy, and smells of expensive detergents. Honestly, I’d rather watch Every Time I Die’s music video for “We’rewolf“, but then again, who wouldn’t.

Now, I’m pretty critical about exorcism movies considering The Exorcist is one of my favorite movies… but I took a small shine to this movie. It’s one of those first person “documentary” type flicks that the Blair Witch made popular. In this movie, an evangelical minister agrees to document his last exorcist and gets more than he bargained for.
The Last Exorcism

On this day in Denver, Colorado, David Fincher was born. You may know him for directing Fight Club, Se7en, Gone Girl, Panic Room, etc. But did you know he directed a bunch of music videos? I don’t know if names like Michael Jackson, Aerosmith, Madonna, Sting, and The Rolling Stones ring any bells? Well, its rumored that David may helm the announced World War Z 2!
