Halloween celebrations are bringing Northeastern Pennsylvania businesses together once again for Wilkes-Scarre 2026. Now in its sixth year, the collaborative initiative connects haunted attractions, downtown venues, restaurants, retailers, and community organizations to encourage local exploration and support businesses throughout the Halloween season.

Created and organized by Joe Rovinsky, Wilkes-Scarre is coordinated in collaboration with the nonprofit Wilkes-Barre Metropolitan Development Corporation. The initiative brings together a growing network of partners contributing experiences, prizes, resources, and promotional support.
Participating businesses and attractions include Reaper’s Revenge, Horror Hall, Hell’s Nightmares Haunted Hayride, Waldorf Estate of Fear, Best Western Plus Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Airport Hotel, R/C Wilkes-Barre Movies 14, Chacko’s Family Bowling Center, Crunch Fitness Scranton, Joe Nardone’s Gallery of Sound, Margarita Beer Garden, Loyalty Barber Shop, Atomic Tan, Nelly’s Speakeasy, and The Mines, among other local organizations.

The 2026 programming connects downtown celebrations, costume contests, haunted attraction promotions, special offers from participating businesses, and a screening of the original Ghostbusters. By bringing together businesses from different industries, Wilkes-Scarre aims to give residents and visitors more opportunities to explore the area while supporting the local economy.

Beyond the Halloween festivities, Wilkes-Scarre highlights the value of collaboration among independent businesses and regional attractions. With six years of events behind it, the initiative continues to build connections that can help support future community events and local promotions.
For horror fans and Halloween enthusiasts in Northeastern Pennsylvania, Wilkes-Scarre 2026 offers another opportunity to celebrate the season while discovering what the local business community has to offer.
