Arrow Video’s January lineup is here to save 2021 from becoming “The Great Dumpster Fire: part 2”. The subscription-based platform is available now in the US and Canada and will soon be available in the UK. Arrow continues to expand availability across multiple devices and countries to bring audiences everywhere a huge selection of cult favorites, lesser-known gems, and iconic horror classics. Just check out these January releases!

With the new year comes new content! The lineup begins with the launch of Arrow’s inaugural ‘Arrow Shorts Collection’, a selection of entries from Arrow Video’s Horror Lockdown Shorts contest. This series is a testament to the immense creativity and commitment to filmmaking in the industry amid the crushing uncertainty of the current global pandemic. The collection features burning passion in “UnTooned”, the disturbing aftermath of nuptials in “The Wedding Ritual”, bad bears in Toys”, a break-in gone horribly wrong in “Stagnant”, a neon Giallo homage in “A Date with Death”, the paranoid and claustrophobic “Insecticide”, thrills and chills in “The Drawing”, obsessions in “The Garden”, the sleepless nightmare of first-time parenthood in “Night Feed”, and the unseen dangers of online shopping in “Silent & Deadly”.

Every second counts in “Short on Time”, Arrow Video’s collection of shorts and features under 75 minutes. Featured titles include Patrick Picard’s hauntingly atmospheric The Bloodhound (you can read our review of the film here), Herschell Gordon Lewis’s groundbreaking splatter films Blood Feast and The Gruesome Twosome, and Shinya Tsukamoto’s cyberpunk Tetsuo: The Iron Man. The shorts include Roadkill: The Last Days of John Martin and A Hot Night at the Go Go Lounge.

This month’s release also gets a jump on cupid and kicks things off with Loved to Death: an assortment of titles that showcase the true price of passion (spoiler its murder with lots of enchantments, mayhem, and gore!).  Featured titles include Anna Biller’s gothic technicolor dream The Love Witch, see violent love in Tokyo Fist, dark and depraved passion in We Are the Flesh and Orgies of Edo, and the quirky drama Toys are Not for Children.

Also in January Arrow unleashes their series “Little Monsters”, centered around a rabble of pintsized ruffians who are badly behaved and baying for blood. Featured titles include We Need to Talk About Kevin, Bloody Birthday, Blood Rage, and Madhouse.
