BLOAT, the latest horror feature from director and writer Pablo Absento, premieres on March 7 in theaters, on demand, and on digital platforms. Produced by a collaborator behind Searching and Unfriended, the film showcases Ben McKenzie (Gotham) and Bojana Novakovic (Birds of Prey) in a tense narrative of demonic possession.
Following a near-fatal drowning incident, a young boy’s frightening behavior suggests he is possessed by a legendary demon that dwells within the depths of a lake. As the family struggles to reclaim their son’s soul, a destructive force grows stronger, placing everyone in peril. Co-starring Malcolm Fuller, Sawyer Jones, and Kane Kosugi, BLOAT delivers a dark, atmospheric story that explores the extreme lengths a family will go to for survival.
BLOAT’s March 7 release offers horror fans an opportunity to experience a uniquely unsettling vision.
