Brainstorm Media has set August 21, 2026 as the release date for Bury the Devil, a single-shot supernatural horror film that unfolds in real time inside an isolated home. The film arrives in select theaters and on demand simultaneously.

Bury the Devil follows a nurse caring for an elderly patient with dementia when something begins to shift in the house. What first reads as behavioral strangeness becomes something far more sinister as the night progresses — a demonic presence seeping through the walls of the old home, threatening everyone inside. Told in an unbroken continuous shot, the film traps its audience in the same unrelenting present tense as its protagonist, offering no cuts, no escapes, and no room to breathe.
Director Adam O’Brien (MOM) helms the project from a screenplay by John Petrizzi and Brad Hodson. The cast includes Dawn Ford, Emmanuelle Lussier Martinez, and Bill Rowat. Philip Kalin-Hajdu, Benoit Beaulieu, and O’Brien produce.
Bury the Devil opens in select theaters and is available on demand beginning August 21, 2026.
