First dates can be unnerving, and the upcoming horror film Drop aims to prove just how unsettling they can be. The new trailer, produced by Michael Bay (known for the Transformers franchise) and Jason Blum (behind Five Nights at Freddy’s and M3GAN) in collaboration with acclaimed horror director Christopher Landon (We Have a Ghost, Freaky), offers a first look at this blood-chilling, original fast-paced thriller.

Emmy nominee Meghann Fahy stars in Drop alongside Brandon Sklenar, Violett Beane, Jacob Robinson, and Ed Weeks. The film is penned by Jillian Jacobs & Chris Roach, adding to the creative force behind this production. Landon, who previously directed Freaky and the Happy Death Day series, brings his signature storytelling style to the project.

The movie is produced by Jason Blum for Blumhouse and by Michael Bay, Brad Fuller, and Cameron Fuller for Platinum Dunes. Ron Lynch and Sam Lerner serve as executive producers. With its notable cast and crew, Drop sets the stage for a tense exploration of a first date gone horribly wrong.
