A new horror film from two genre veterans is set to arrive just in time for summer. From the creator of Final Destination, Jeffrey Reddick, and Hellbent writer/director Paul Etheredge, comes a tense adoption-themed thriller arriving on digital and on demand platforms June 13, 2025.
Directed and written by Paul Etheredge, the film follows Robin and Daniel, a couple struggling with infertility who decide to adopt Kathelia—a mute orphan with a shadowy background. What begins as a hopeful new chapter soon shifts as disturbing occurrences plague their home. As Kathelia’s behavior becomes increasingly erratic, the couple faces a sinister force that threatens their lives and tests their bond.
The cast includes Olivia Macklin, Dylan McTee, Avangeline Friedlander, Lily D. Moore, and Shawnee Smith. The film is produced by Lisa Normand, Jeffrey Reddick, Jeff Walker, and Tim Nagle.
The digital and on-demand release is scheduled for June 13, 2025.
