Focus Features has announced the upcoming release of Begonia, the latest film from director Yorgos Lanthimos. The film will debut in a limited theatrical engagement beginning October 24, 2025, followed by a wide release on October 31.

Written by Will Tracy, Begonia follows two young men who, driven by conspiracy theories, abduct the CEO of a powerful corporation. Believing she is an extraterrestrial threat to Earth, they attempt to expose what they perceive as a hidden invasion.

The cast includes Academy Award winner Emma Stone, Jesse Plemons, Aidan Delbis, Stavros Halkias, and Alicia Silverstone. The film blends dark psychological themes with elements of science fiction, continuing Lanthimos’s exploration of unconventional human behavior and societal structures.
