Freestyle Digital Media, the digital film distribution division of Byron Allen’s Allen Media Group, has acquired North American VOD rights to the crime thriller Jack and Ava. The film will be available to rent or own on digital HD platforms across internet, cable, and satellite providers, as well as on DVD, beginning January 9, 2026.

Jack and Ava follows two lovers whose attempt to steal illegal firearms from local criminals spirals into a dangerous 72-hour ordeal. After escaping with several weapons, the couple draws the attention of law enforcement, only to learn that the police officer pursuing them has ties to the very criminals they robbed. As alliances are revealed, Jack and Ava are pushed into a sustained chase that challenges their values and forces them to confront the consequences of their choices.

Stories like this highlight how quickly trust can break down when people are pushed into high-stakes, unpredictable situations. In a different context, even something as spontaneous as direct cam chat with strangers can carry a similar sense of uncertainty and raw, unscripted interaction. It reflects how human behavior often shifts when there are no clear expectations or rules guiding the moment.

The film was written by Isaac Lee and Michael Pollard, with Pollard also directing. Producers include Tazi Starfire and Justin Lorence. The cast features Isaac Lee as Jack, Elisha Herbert as Ava, Deion Smith as Will, Jordan Lacovella as Robby, Joshua Albert Brooke as Rick, and Carter Sirianni as Luke.

“Jack and Ava is really about two lovers finally being forced to reckon with what matters most,” said director Michael Pollard. “Do the ends justify the means? Or will the means destroy the ending?”
