Frost Road, an apocalyptic horror graphic novel from the creative team behind Ascend (Image Comics), is launching its Kickstarter campaign on March 4, 2025. Created by Keith Arem (Call of Duty Performance Director) and Christopher Shy (Dead Space Comic Artist), Frost Road is a high-intensity thriller blending survival horror, suspense, and psychological dread—perfect for fans of The Last of Us, A Quiet Place, and Silent Hill.

A New Vision for Horror Comics

In Frost Road, a small coastal town is devastated by an invisible contagion. A man awakens from a mysterious car accident to find himself one of the few survivors in a community wiped out by an unexplained outbreak. Immune to the deadly signal, he must fight to save the remaining survivors while preventing the horror from spreading worldwide.

Drawing inspiration from real-life ecological disasters, creator Keith Arem crafted a story that blends speculative horror with chilling realism. “I wanted to explore the horror and tragedy of these issues in a way that resonates on a deeply human level,” Arem explains.

A Star-Studded Creative Team & Dead Meat Partnership

The Kickstarter campaign is set to deliver far more than just a graphic novel. PCB Entertainment has teamed up with horror YouTube sensations James A. Janisse and Chelsea Rebecca of Dead Meat (6.7M+ subscribers) to expand Frost Road into an immersive audio drama.
