Neon has released the official teaser poster for Her Private Hell, the new film from director Nicolas Winding Refn (Drive, The Neon Demon, Only God Forgives), ahead of its U.S. theatrical release on July 24, 2026. The image-driven announcement marks the latest look at what is shaping up to be one of the more visually arresting genre releases of the summer.
Set in a futuristic metropolis engulfed by a mysterious mist, Her Private Hell centers on a troubled young woman searching for her father as a deadly, elusive entity prowls the fog-covered city. The film reunites the neon-drenched visual language Refn honed on The Neon Demon with a sci-fi thriller framework that promises genuine dread alongside its stylistic ambition.
Sophie Thatcher leads the cast alongside Charles Melton, Kristine Froseth, Havana Rose Liu, and Diego Calva. The score is composed by Pino Donaggio (Carrie, Dressed to Kill), marking his first collaboration with Refn. The film had its world premiere out of competition at the 79th Cannes Film Festival in May 2026, where it received a 12-minute standing ovation.
Her Private Hell opens in U.S. theaters on July 24, 2026, via Neon.
