Arrow Video has announced a Limited Edition 4K Ultra HD release of Hush, the 2016 home invasion horror film written and directed by Mike Flanagan (The Haunting of Hill House, Doctor Sleep). The two-disc set arrives July 15, 2026 and is region-free, making it accessible to U.S. collectors.

Hush follows Maddie (Kate Siegel), a deaf novelist living in secluded woodland isolation whose hard-won peace is shattered when a masked killer (John Gallagher Jr.) appears outside her window. Cut off from any means of calling for help, Maddie is forced into a brutal game of cat and mouse — one where her silence becomes both her greatest vulnerability and her most powerful weapon. The film is lean and nerve-shredding, a stripped-back exercise in minimalist terror that demonstrates Flanagan’s mastery of sustained suspense long before his Netflix era.
Flanagan (Oculus, Before I Wake) co-wrote the screenplay with Siegel, who also stars. The cast also includes Samantha Sloyan, John Gallagher Jr. (10 Cloverfield Lane), and Michael Trucco. The film was produced by Trevor Macy and originally released through Netflix in 2016.
The Arrow Limited Edition is a two-disc affair loaded with new and archival material. Disc one features the original full-color presentation in 4K HDR10 alongside audio commentary with Flanagan, Siegel, Sloyan, Gallagher Jr., and Trucco; individual cast and crew interviews; and a picture-in-picture commentary. Disc two houses the “Shush Cut” — a black-and-white version of the film with a revised audio mix — paired with a feature-length Mike Flanagan Artist Talk recorded at Fantasia International Film Festival 2024, a Beyond Fest Q&A with Flanagan and Siegel from the same year, and a new visual essay by critic Alexandra HellerNicholas on the film’s representation of deafness. A reversible sleeve with new artwork by Adam Rabalais and a collectors’ booklet round out the package.
