Ice Cream Man: Eli Roth’s New Horror Film Opens in Theaters August 7

Horror Section Studios has released the official trailer for Ice Cream Man, the new horror film written and directed by Eli Roth, arriving in theaters nationwide on August 7, 2026. The trailer is pretty unhinged and, as you might expect, age-restricted.

Ice Cream Man drops into an idyllic summer town where the arrival of an ice cream man sends the community spiraling into madness, as the sweet treats he dishes out to kids trigger horrifying results. The film’s original music is composed by Grammy-nominated rapper and actor Snoop Dogg alongside Emmy Award-winning composer Brandon Roberts, with rap icon Nas on board as executive producer.

Roth (Hostel, Cabin Fever) directs from a screenplay he co-wrote with Noah Belson, based on his own original story. The film stars Ari Millen, Benjamin Byron Davis, Karen Cliche, Dylan Hawco, Sarah Abbott, Shiloh O’Reilly, Kiori Mirza Waldman, Charlie Zeltzer, and Charlie Storey, with Roth himself appearing in the cast. The production was handled by Horror Section Studios, and the film carries no connection to the 1995 film of the same name.

Ice Cream Man opens in theaters everywhere on August 7, 2026.
