Ice Nine Kills have released “Twisting the Knife,” an official track featured in Scream 7, marking the band’s formal entry into the long-running horror franchise. The single includes a guest performance from cast member Mckenna Grace and arrives ahead of the film’s theatrical release on February 27, 2026.

Frontman Spencer Charnas describes the song as a tribute to Wes Craven and the Scream series, citing the franchise’s influence on both his personal love of horror and the band’s creative identity. The track also nods to composer Marco Beltrami’s original scores while incorporating Ice Nine Kills’ signature theatrical metal style.

The accompanying music video expands the band’s ongoing “INKverse” narrative and features Roger L. Jackson reprising his role as the voice of Ghostface. The storyline continues from the band’s previous release, “The Laugh Track,” and includes appearances by David Arquette and Johnny Brennan.

The collaboration was first revealed during the band’s performance at London’s OVO Arena Wembley, where a staged moment involving Scream cast members teased the crossover. In addition to the single, Ice Nine Kills launched a limited-edition merchandise drop tied to the release.
