An expert in Urban Legends, Youtuber Javitronicks, decides to film a documentary about the scandal that happened in the Astonishment program during its fifteenth year. A child, a dog, jam and singer Rickey Martin were involved. During his investigation he meets Eugenio, a former worker of the show that show him the original video of the scandal. The things are never what they seem.
The inspiration c ame from one of the most famous Spanish urban legends in years. The legends revolves around singer Ricky Martin with a girl, a dog and a jar of jam, and inspired much talked about this situation. This film is Jose Mellinas directorial debut, who also stars in the play alongside Albert Anguera and Amanda Martin. The film was shot in two days only using and Iphone 5s and a crew of seven people.
This film is a compilation of the ridiculous and the extraordinary. It’s comical but at the same time you are sucked into the lore of the story. You want to know what this story is about, who made this story up, who are the people involved? Hopefully he can answer these questions because I am intrigued. When you have jam and a singer involved, you know this got real bad.
It was selected and screened in the last edition os the Sitges Film Festival (2015) and FANT Bilbao (20160 and competed in Phonetastic and Fantastic Phone Movistar, respectively, both frames dedicated exclusively to film made with mobile devices.
