Friday the 13th’s most iconic slasher is coming to a theme park near you. Horror, Inc. has announced JASON: Blood Reign, a new immersive experience bringing Jason Voorhees to select Six Flags locations this fall. The attraction drops guests into the dark woods surrounding Camp Crystal Lake, retracing the blood-soaked history that made Jason Voorhees the most feared name in slasher history.
JASON: Blood Reign will be available at four locations: Carowinds in Charlotte, North Carolina; Kings Island in Mason, Ohio; Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson Township, New Jersey; and Six Flags Mexico in Mexico City.
“It’s incredible to see how fans’ appetite for Jason Voorhees keeps growing,” said Robbie Barsamian, Executive Vice President at Horror, Inc. “Partnering with Six Flags for Blood Reign lets us deliver the iconic slasher straight to our community on an immersive scale.”
No further details on dates or ticketing were available at press time, but with fall haunt season launching in September at most major theme parks, JASON: Blood Reign is shaping up to be one of the most high-profile horror activations of the season.
