Developer Francis Coulombe and publisher Devolver Digital’s survival horror RPG Look Outside is now available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. The game launched on PC last year and has since earned an Overwhelmingly Positive rating on Steam.

Look Outside confines players to a single, warped apartment complex overrun by cosmic horrors. You explore the building in search of food, supplies, and weapons, meeting strange NPCs and fighting monsters that were once your neighbors.

Between expeditions, players return to their own apartment to recuperate, craft tools, cook dinner, play games, and get to know the few allies willing to side with them in this cursed place. It is a loop that mixes claustrophobic exploration with the quiet dread of domestic life gone wrong.

Critics have called the game “one of the scariest games I’ve ever played” and “disturbing, grotesque, and uncomfortably wonderful,” according to Devolver’s press materials.

Look Outside is priced at $9.99 in the U.S. and £8.99 in the UK on console. As the publisher puts it, whatever you do, don’t look outside.

Find the game on the PlayStation Store, the Nintendo eShop.

Don't dare to LOOK OUTSIDE on Nintendo Switch 1 & 2 and PlayStation 4 & 5
