Lou Ferrigno steps into the horror genre with The Hermit, set for release on Digital and On Demand platforms March 3 from Uncork’d Entertainment. The film will debut one day earlier with a Los Angeles premiere on March 2.

In the film, Ferrigno portrays a reclusive pig farmer with a disturbing secret: he produces jerky made from human flesh. The story follows teenagers Lisa and Eric, whose woodland vacation turns into a fight for survival as they attempt to escape their relentless pursuer. The cast also includes Malina Weissman and Anthony Turpel, both familiar to younger audiences through their television work.

The Hermit is directed by Italian filmmaker Salvatore Sclafani in his first English-language feature, and produced by Gerry Pass of Chrome Entertainment alongside Sclafani’s First Child Prods. Known globally for his portrayal of the Hulk, Ferrigno described the project as his first horror film and expressed enthusiasm for bringing the role to audiences.
